Interim Board Chair & Vice-Chair
Carolina Jaramillo Schadebrodt

Carolina Jaramillo is a Chilean-born resident of Lander. She and her husband Judd (a Wyoming native) chose Lander as a place to raise their two children many years ago.  Carolina has been developing her trade as a ceramicist for over 30 years. During this time she has launched programs to empower women artists in rural communities, volunteered at the Tucson Museum of Art, and taught pottery to children through grant-funded projects in both Chile and in Lander. As an artist she has exhibited her works in Coyhaique, Chile, Tucson, Arizona, and Laramie, Wyoming. 

Carolina  joined the LAC board in 2021. She believes strongly in the its mission to educate and engage Fremont County in the arts through learning opportunities and exhibitions that foster a strong arts community.  

Carolina has an associates degree in K-12 education and currently works for FCSD#1 as a substitute teacher. She is an alumna of both Central Wyoming College and NOLS. Her hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, sea kayaking, gardening and photography.

Heather Huberty

Heather Huberty brings a wealth of experience and passion for community engagement to the Lander Art Center. With a strong background in education and program development, Heather has been instrumental in fostering inclusive and dynamic art programs that benefit the Lander community. Her commitment to enhancing cultural experiences is evident through her work, ensuring that the Art Center remains a vibrant hub for artists and art enthusiasts alike. Heather's strategic vision and dedication make her an invaluable member of our team, driving forward our mission to enrich lives through art.

Kathleen Macdonald

Kathleen MacDonald is a dedicated advocate and communications expert with extensive experience in policy development and public relations. As the former Policy and Communications Director for a national non-profit, she has managed social media, public relations, Congressional briefings, and national advocacy events. Kathleen is widely recognized for her contributions to education and prevention efforts related to eating disorders, mental health, and suicide, notably helping pass the landmark Anna Westin Act of 2015. Her personal recovery story and professional efforts have been featured in the New York Times and the documentary “A Claim To Life.”

Beyond her professional achievements, Kathleen is known for her compassion and dedication to the causes she champions. She has a history of rescuing English Setters and is deeply committed to animal welfare, particularly through her work with the Wyoming Wild Horse Improvement Partnership (WYWHIP). Kathleen's passion for advocacy and her wealth of experience make her an invaluable member of the Lander Art Center board, where she continues to support and enhance our community’s cultural landscape.

Board Treasurer
Shane Parrott

Shane, currently a graphic designer and production specialist, has lived in Lander, WY since 2008. Prior to moving to Wyoming, he lived throughout the Midwest. He has many passions and backgrounds: at his core is a love for coffee, bicycles, and art. As a member of the Lander Art Center’s board of directors, he brings his experience in business, graphic design, and art production to the table. He is passionate about the arts and sees Lander, WY as a strange, wonderful, and mysterious place, filled with a diverse and dynamic community of visionaries, historians, ranchers, artists, community builders and seekers. Shane is a proud father of two children and loves to explore the beauty of Wyoming on his bike.

Shane has been a supporter of the arts in many communities throughout his life. He believes that all types of art are critical to the overall health of a community and its citizens, and is dedicated to making sure that the arts remain a vibrant and integral part of our cultural landscape.

In his free time, Shane can be found exploring the landscape of various technologies. He is a passionate advocate for the arts and is committed to using his skills and talents to make our community a more vibrant, creative, and inclusive place.

Laura Koch

After 45 years backstage on Broadway, Laura retired to Lander.  Like Bill Cody she too “ has worked very hard and am tired of the towns, and anxious to get back to the free life of the country.”

Laura has been a member of the LAC since first visiting Lander in 2013. Since then she has contributed to the 2019 through 2022 Members Show and is currently serving on the Board.
