Laura has been a member of the LAC since first visiting Lander in 2013. Since then she has contributed to the 2019 through 2022 Members Show and is currently serving on the Board.
Board Treasurer
Shane Parrott
Shane, the treasurer for the Lander Art Center's board of directors, is a Midwest transplant who has made his home in Lander, Wyoming, drawn by the state's natural beauty. He is dedicated to fostering a vibrant arts community, where he contributes by managing finances, backing inclusive programs, and helping to establish the center as a hub for various art forms.
Shane believes art is a vital tool for connection and community building. His work is guided by his values of integrity and autonomy, and he is a practical, long-term thinker who is not afraid of complex tasks. Outside of the art center, he works in design and print and shares creative projects with his children. Ultimately, Shane has found his sense of belonging in Wyoming, a place defined for him by art, community, and the inspiring landscape.
