Ignite your child's artistic passion with our enriching "Art After School" program at the Lander Art Center, guided by the talented Miss Sipe. Designed for the 2025 academic year, these classes offer a vibrant and diverse curriculum that promises a semester of discovery and artistic growth for young minds. All classes run from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM.

We offer two distinct age groups, each with a carefully tailored curriculum to suit their developmental stage, while exploring a fantastic range of artistic mediums and techniques:

• Ages 9 & Up: Join us Tuesdays for projects that delve into observational drawing, watercolor and acrylic painting with advanced techniques, imaginative book illustration, creative stenciling, paper-mâché animal sculpting, and 3-dimensional felt art creations.

• Ages 6, 7, 8: Join us Wednesdays for an exciting journey through drawing from "real life," foundational watercolor and acrylic painting skills, imaginative book cover design, fun stenciling projects, engaging paper-mâché animals, and hands-on felt art.

Both programs share common breaks for Thanksgiving (November 26-28, 2025) and Christmas (December 22, 2025 - January 2, 2026).

Guided by Wyoming PTSB-certified Art Educator Pam Sipe, these classes go beyond arts and crafts-this is real arts education. 

In the spring of 2026, students will showcase their work in a gallery-style art exhibition, celebrating the best of what they’ve created.
