Designed for students from beginner to advanced (high school to adults), this course will explore the basics of the oil medium, color theory, and art history, guiding you to find your own unique vision in art-making. Through hands-on projects, you’ll gain a basic understanding of the oil medium, explore color theory through mixing palettes, and learn to compose your own unique works of art. With guidance from Lander, you’ll paint and discover how to bring your personal vision to life on canvas. Whether you’re captivated by vibrant still life’s, expressive portraits, or the stories behind iconic artworks, this class will help you grow as an artist while having fun along the way. Let your creativity flow—one brushstroke at a time!
