From First Sketches to Masterpieces
Experience the Joy of Learning Through Art!

Come celebrate and support our local students

Opening Reception: Thursday, May 8th | 6–8 PM
Location: 258 Main St., Lander, WY

Join us for a celebration of creativity and growth at the Lander Art Center's 2025 Student Art Exhibition!

This year's show is a dynamic blend of youth and adult student work, featuring a wide range of art created in our classes and workshops. You'll see artwork from Pamela Sipe's kids’ classes, Lander Burton’s watercolor, oil painting, and drawing classes, our January–March figure drawing sessions, and vibrant clay works from our Open Clay Studio participants.

The 2025 exhibition marks a first for LAC — a true mixed-student showcase where emerging youth artists and adult students of all skill levels share the gallery together. Our aim is to celebrate the discipline of creating, learning, and exploring art without ego — making artistic growth approachable and inspiring for all ages.

Mediums on display include painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, ceramics, and more.
Participation: Approximately 20 student artists are expected to exhibit.

The opening reception on Thursday, May 8th from 6–8 PM will include light refreshments and drinks.
All exhibitions at the Lander Art Center are free and open to the public, and our facility is ADA accessible.

Special thanks to the Kiwanis, Lander District Recreation Board, Trillium Family Foundation, Wyoming Arts Council, Lander Community Foundation, and Rocky Mountain Power for their continued support of art programming at the Lander Art Center.

Come celebrate and support our local students — and help us lift up the creative spirit thriving right here in Fremont County!
