Classes at LAC
Wheel throwing, handbuilding, printmaking, painting, and week-long camps, taught on Main Street by people who make the work themselves. Beginners are the point, not the exception.
What we teach
Clay
Wheel throwing and handbuilding, from a first evening at the wheel through intermediate courses. Class students get Open Studio access during their course dates.
Print and paper
Block printing, silkscreen, and mixed media. Short workshops that finish a piece in one sitting, and longer courses that build technique.
Painting and drawing
Watercolor, acrylic, and drawing, including relaxed one-night sessions for people who have not picked up a brush since school.
Kids and camps
After-school classes and week-long summer camps for younger artists, plus family sessions where grown-ups make things too.

How the listings work
- Multi-Session is a full course across several weeks.
- Drop-Ins are single sessions you can take once.
- Events are one-off classes and special nights.
- Punch Pass covers Open Clay Studio visits.

What it costs
If the listed price is a problem, pay less
LAC classes use self-selected pricing. The listed tuition is the standard rate and most people pay it. If a lower price helps you take part, enter SUPPORTED at checkout and the reduced rate applies on the spot. No application, no explanation, and no one waiting on an answer. It works right up to the night before class starts.
