Join the wonderful Susan Grinels for a playful exploration of monoprinting using the magical Gelli plate. This accessible technique is all about color, texture, and the joy of surprise. We’ll spend three Tuesday afternoons layering brilliant acrylic paints, pressing paper by hand, and revealing stunning, one-of-a-kind prints. It’s a perfect way to connect with your creative spirit and with fellow makers in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.
In this workshop, you will:
Create a portfolio of unique monoprints on paper using a versatile Gelli plate.
Explore the fundamentals of color mixing, design principles, and layering techniques.
Discover the beautiful surprise of the "ghost print" and how to capture it.
Leave with a collection of your own vibrant prints, perfect for framing, collage, or handmade cards.
