Plan your visitThe market
Art in the Afternoon has opened Lander's holiday season for more than 25 years. On the first Sunday in December, LAC fills the Lander Community and Convention Center with pottery, paintings, photography, jewelry, woodwork, fiber, ornaments, and cards, all made by the people standing behind the tables. Shoppers come from across Fremont County and beyond.

“There were plenty of volunteers offering help at all times throughout the day, and it never felt too overwhelming. It was such an awesome event and it filled my cup both as an artist and as a human being.”
Kacie DeKleine, artist
“The fact that it is a juried market geared toward encouraging holiday shopping is a boon for Lander's economy and our growing identity as an art town.”
Lori Hunter
