Sponsor the arts in Lander

LAC works with local businesses two ways: sponsor an event that puts your name in front of the whole county, or fund youth access so cost never decides which kid gets to make something. Both are tax deductible, and both stay in Fremont County.

Art in the Afternoon

Sunday, December 6 10 AM to 4 PM Lander Community and Convention Center

For more than 25 years, Art in the Afternoon has been Lander's holiday arts fair: 40 or more Wyoming artists under one roof, and 800 to 1,000 people shopping directly from the people who made the work. Last year's fair put an estimated $55,800 to $66,900 directly into artists' hands, and roughly $101,000 to $118,000 into the Fremont County economy, on a quiet Sunday in December.

Your logo lives in the artist program

Every booth at the fair gets a printed blurb: who the artist is and what they make. Attendees hang onto the program long after the event and use it to find artists all year. Sponsor logos sit inside it, alongside the artists, and copies go to lodging properties across Fremont County through the holiday season.

Year-round

Become a Youth Scholarship Partner

LAC classes use self-selected pricing: the listed tuition is the standard rate, and any family who needs a lower one enters a code at checkout with no application and no explanation. The Youth Scholarship Fund is what makes that promise affordable to keep. Business partners fund it directly, and we report back on how many students it reached.

What a partnership covers

A gift of $25 to $50 sends a kid to an intro class. $60 to $100 covers a clay studio punch pass. $100 to $175 funds a full week of summer camp. There are no minimums, no packages, and no strings.

Getting listed

Partners are recognized on LAC materials through the year rather than tied to a single event, which suits a business that wants a standing presence instead of a seasonal one.

Write to director@landerartcenter.com or call (307) 332-5772 to set one up.

Lander Art Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 90-0165524, at 258 Main Street, Lander, WY 82520. Sponsorships and gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
