Dinner is served

After dinner come the auctions: a live auction of firearms and the artwork the town voted on, and a silent auction of donated items, with entertainment by local youth through the evening.

Western attire is suggested, not required.

The art, and how the voting works

1
Walk in at LAC, 258 Main Street, any time October 10 to 22 during open hours.
2
Take your beads and drop them in the jars beside the pieces you want to see on the auction block.
3
The pieces with the most beads make the live auction on October 23.

No ticket needed, no cost, and it takes about five minutes.

Need an accommodation to see or vote on the art? Just ask, and there is no cost. How to ask.

In kind

Donate an item

Silent auction items are welcome, and every donation is recognized.

To claim any of these, call Ryan Flatt at 406-390-6759, Justus Jacobs at 307-349-2786, or Gabe Harris at 307-438-0777, or email Gabriel.Harris@LPNT.net. Tickets are also on sale at the Lander Chamber of Commerce and from any Kiwanis member, and tables are limited.

Recognition tiers

Kiwanis recognizes total support at three levels: Bronze at $600, Silver at $800, and Gold at $1,200 or more. Tables, item sponsorships, silent auction donations, and cash all count toward your total.

For artists

Your work hangs in the LAC gallery, the town votes from October 10 to 22 on which pieces make the live auction, and the auction is October 23 at the Lander Community Center. Drop your work off at LAC by October 10 to hang for the full show, or by October 22 at the latest. Payouts go out after November 7. The artist contract covers the rest; sign it and bring it with your work.

Questions about taking part go to Gabe Harris at 307-438-0777 or Gabriel.Harris@LPNT.net.

The Kiwanis of Lander

Guns, Boots & Brands belongs to the Kiwanis of Lander, an all-volunteer service club, and Kiwanis handles the tickets, the tables, the sponsorships, and the money. LAC hosts the art and the voting at 258 Main Street.

The dinner is the club's biggest night. The rest of the year, the club shows up in the parks, on the ballfields, and in the classrooms. As club president Chuck Carr told County 10, "It's our main function, to raise money for youth and support youth programs."

$150,000+ raised for Fremont County youth since the first dinner in 2014

Two weeks to vote, one evening to bid
